The alignment film angle measuring instrument independently developed, designed and produced by PTC Optical Instrument has been successfully launched.
By manually rotating a stage with a dial, the device can measure the axis angle generated during the stretching process of high transparency films such as alignment film. Such film products will also form a certain amount of internal stress during the stretching process. And will form a stable phase retardation in the polarization field, hence the polarization field will change to a certain extent. Combined with the light intensity change information after passing through the analyzer component, the axial angle value of the alignment film can be calculated.
Application field: high transmittance optical film such as alignment film
Advantages: it replaces the previous method of manually measuring the axis angle with an affordable cost, and reduces human visual errors.
